Technology Meets the Alps
What happens when you combine coding workshops with mountain hikes? Something remarkable: students who engage with technology in an inspiring natural environment learn more deeply and retain more.
Our AI & Technology Programme
Morning: Tech Workshops
- **Introduction to AI** — What it is, how it works, and how to use it responsibly
- **Prompt Engineering** — Learning to communicate effectively with AI tools
- **Digital Storytelling** — Creating multimedia projects with AI assistance
- **Data & Ethics** — Understanding the implications of technology in society
Afternoon: Outdoor Adventure
- Hiking, nature exploration, and team challenges
- Applying tech concepts in nature (GPS navigation, nature photography, data collection)
- Disconnecting to reconnect — the importance of balance
Evening: Reflection & Sharing
- Presenting daily projects to the group
- Collaborative problem-solving sessions
- Campfire conversations about technology and the future
Computer Camps by Future Kids
In partnership with **Future Kids**, we offer specialised computer camps:
- **Programming** — Scratch, Python, or web development basics
- **Robotics** — Building and programming robots
- **Game Design** — Creating games from concept to playable prototype
- **3D Modelling** — Designing and (where possible) 3D printing
These workshops are adapted for different age groups and experience levels.
Why Outdoors + Tech Works
Research shows that:
- **Nature breaks** between focused tech sessions improve retention by 40%
- **Physical activity** enhances creative problem-solving
- **Real-world context** makes abstract tech concepts tangible
What Students Create
In just one week, students have built:
